Loukia Kostopoulou

Loukia Kostopoulou has a Diploma in Translation from Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg. She holds a BA, MA in Translation Studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is currently working on her Ph.D thesis on AVT, and is a research fellow in the Translation Studies Department. She has worked as a professional translator and teacher since 1999. She has collaborated for a period of time with the Translation Service of the European Commission. Her research interests include AVT, translation theory and practice, distance-learning and lifelong learning. She has presented papers at international conferences in Greece and abroad on various aspects of AVT and translation.
