Elena Di Giovanni

Elena Di Giovanni is Associate Professor of English Translation at the University of Macerata, Italy. She has a degree in Specialized Translation and a PhD in English and Audiovisual Translation. She has been doing research in audiovisual translation and media accessibility for over 20 years, and has been invited to lecture on these topics at several universities and institutions around the world: Valencia, Sevilla, Barcelona, London, Leeds, Belfast, Nitra, Cairo, New York. Since 2008, she is a regular Visiting Lecturer at Roehampton University, London, MA course in audiovisual translation. She is also a regular lecturer at the Venice International Film Festival.
