Dionysios Kapsaskis

Dionysios Kapsaskis is Senior Lecturer in Translation at the University of Roehampton, London, where he lectures on translation theory, transcreation and storytelling. His research has appeared in various translation, film, and literary journals including Perspectives, Translation Studies, The Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and Dalhousie French Studies. Dionysios's editorial work includes a thematic issue of The Journal of Specialised Translation on “Translation in the Creative Industries” (Issue 29) and The Routledge Handbook of Translation and Globalization (2021, co-edited with Esperanca Bielsa). He has also contributed an entry (Subtitling (Interlingual)) in The Routledge Encyclopedia of Translation Studies (2019) and a chapter on "Translation and Film" in The Routledge Handbook of Translation and the Media (forthcoming 2021, co-authored with Josh Branson).
